We’re always learning to build and grow into something to be proud of.
Work with usWe want to grow and as such we’re always on the lookout for new engineers and technicians. Specifically we like to train graduates and young professionals (I know, we must be nuts), but we were lucky to have had a great mentor who had time for us in the early years and we’ve always maintained that we’d pay it forward when we could.
We also appreciate people leave companies for a variety of reasons; a new challenge, changing areas, money, pissed off at their boss? Which is fine, we’re not expecting people to sign up for life, but we don’t want a high turnover of staff either, so we try and be as open and honest with everything as we can (can you tell?).
We’re nerds here above all else here; the engineering and wanting to learn comes first (always!) - everything else follows. We love what we do, we’re happy to push the boundaries where we can and mostly getting that feeling of ‘that was cool.I did that!’ once we’ve finished something. If that’s you - get in touch.

Where we areWe work at Ark Coworking. It’s a proper community, there’s a coworking bit next door with every business start-up you can imagine with people making that leap and doing it for themselves. We’re surrounded by what seems like mostly film producers or mens magazine people upstairs at the minute, a few charities, people writing their thesis and everyone in between. Needless to say we get our ears bent for the odd bit of advice here and there but it’s really nice being in an environment that isn’t just engineering and everyone is pushing and striving to make their own work come to life - that’s really cool.

Purpose
We’re Engineers first and foremost. People work/live/socialise in what we do everyday, therefore safety matters. Never forget that.
Exploration
Everyone makes mistakes, whether big or small – shit happens. It’s a fact of life. Don’t use that as an excuse not to do your best though, use it as a reason to help who you can along the way.
Attitude
Don’t be a dick. Very important.
Collaboration
If you don’t know something. Ask! But. Two caveats on this. 1. If you start asking the same questions over and over. You’re in trouble. And 2. If you haven’t read around the question or come to the table without your own solution (no matter how stupid). You’re in trouble.
Learning
Never stop learning and don’t be afraid to ask or surround yourself with more intelligent people.
